She is shorter than most of her elven counterparts; being an even five feet tall with a trim and lithe body. Her eyes, a pale jade in color, are warm and inviting. Disposition:When Elise is in the presence of company that she has not accustomed herself to, she may come off as demure and soft spoken; nonetheless she is regal in how she carries herself. Amidst her family and closest friends she tends to forgo formalities. To her they are her comfort and reprieve from the expectations her society has placed on her; with them she does have to be the perfect Queen, she can simply be ‘Ellie’ and nothing be wrong with it at all. When amongst the public in the palace she gives her husband the respect befitting the King of Keleirbag . It is when they are alone can they relax and enjoy each other’s company. She is open and honest with her husband and submits dutifully to him.
History:Elise was not born with the expectation of becoming the Queen of Keleirbag, it just so happened to be a pleasant turn of events.
Elise was born to a semi affluent family in Keleirbag. They were far from poor yet there stood a few families ahead of them in the grand scheme of things. Elise was given a proper upbringing that included wielding a bow and arrow at the tender age of five and learning that the forest was sacred and it must be protected at all costs. She grew up understanding that to take from the land is to give back two fold.
Elise grew up spending almost all her time with Jörj as they were born days apart and their families being close to one another. There was never a day that they were not together, unless one had taken ill. Even then the other would brave the illness to be with the other. With them showing such devotion to each other as children it was always assumed that they would join in union when they were of age. Even Elise grew to love Jörj, falling under the assumption that they would marry when they became of age. That however never came to be with fate weaving the web of life in a different pattern than was pictured.
When Elise was seventeen Jörj suddenly started distancing himself from Elise and she never could really understand why it appeared that he would spurn her so to speak. For three weeks she moped about her parent’s home, not wanting to eat nor drink until her father refused to see her in such a state of unhappiness. She relented at first; he was her best friend, her everything. Knowing her father she realized he was the one she received her stubborn streak from. Giving in she allowed him to distract her with much needed archery practice. Midway through the practice her father was content with what he saw and left her to her own devices. She shot until she had not one arrow left in her quiver and her wrists ached dreadfully.
Feeling somewhat satisfied from the release of her frustrations she began retrieving her arrows from the target fifty meters away. It was then she heard a shuffling and muffled noises. The hairs on the back of her neck stood at attention as she crept toward the noise, making sure to be as silent as possible until she came to the edge of a clearing. Hiding behind a dense pine with an arrow already notched she was prepared to face whatever she came across. She leapt out ready to fire on the unsuspecting culprit only to find it was Jörj in the middle of what seemed to be the throes of passion with another woman. Ashamed and humiliated she dropped arrow and ran away, never stopping until she was home.
Mending a broken heart was hard for Elise. She spent many nights crying into her pillow and many days seeking vengeance on the poor unsuspecting targets with a fury of arrows and the occasional throwing knife. To her nothing was more important than protecting her heart from ever hurting again. It was around the time she was twenty Prince Joren paid a visit to the Archery grounds. Everyone was so fascinated with him that they terminated their practice early with the exception of Elise. She continued without fail. Archery was her safe haven, her retreat from the world. The Prince, appearing to be fascinated with her dedication watched her as she continued to shoot arrow after arrow, all but two of them making their mark. She was quick to pack up her things after practice and leave, but not before showing her respect to the Prince.
It was about two weeks after her encounter with the Prince did Elise receive a royal summons for dinner for her and her family. Her mother, excited with the new of the invitation, immediately began the preparations for Elise to have a new dress made; one in the softest shades of jade. She begged her mother to keep it as simple as possible knowing that if she said nothing then her mother would have had it made with more adornments than she would have cared for.
Elise and her family arrived to the palace on the day of the dinner and all went off without a hitch. After the dinner and pleasantries Elise was asked to meet with Prince out on the Balcony. As she walked out to meet with him she could help but notice a softness there that she failed to see the first time their paths crossed, the sweetness of one simple feature warmed her heart and she could not help but smile as she walked up to him. He turned, his gaze locking her in place. “Elise, could you see yourself here? Living here, in this Palace, with me as the future Queen of Keleirbag?” Elise was utterly stunned; her voice failing her that this most important moment. Instead of making herself the fool she simply nodded her acknowledgement, accepting Prince Joren’s proposal and thus set to become the Princess of Keleirbag.
Shortly after the dinner that changed Elise’s life she and Joren were married. Being that their engagement was a short time it had taken Elise sometime to become acquainted with the fact that she was now a part of the governing body of Keleirbag. It helped immensely that Joren was a kind and patient man, allowing their relationship to develop into the blooming romance of love. Although she never one in her life dreamed of nothing more than to be married to Jörj and spend the rest of her life with him, life drew her to something altogether meaningful.
She remained Princess Elise Dawnfeather of Keleirbag until she was twenty-two and the Crown was passed down to Joren, thus making her Queen Elise Dawnfeather.

Elise fidgeted with the silk handkerchief in her hand as her maid worked to lace up the back of her gown. A squeak escaped her maid’s lips with every move Elise made without her knowledge. She was unable to help her restlessness. She was nervous, absolutely nervous as to the evening’s events. ‘Would he remember?’ She thought pensively, debating on just saving herself the stress and just remind Joren of exactly what today meant. “Hurry up Danella. Please finish it as quickly as possible.” Elise snapped at the girl. She never meant to be so blunt with the girl however as soon as it escaped her lips, she knew it would be portrayed as such. “Yes your majesty!” She yipped. Poor girl; she was really trying and Elise was not helping matters at all.
Once finished, Elise walked over to her dressing table and pulled out a small pouch that contained a simple yet elegant broach in it. She walked over to Danella and placed it in her hand. The girls eyes widened in shock without even knowing what exactly the pouch contained. “Your Majesty, I cannot possibly accept this gift. I was only doing my job, and a poor one at that.” Elise smiled and kissed the girl’s forehead. “Danella you dealt with an obstinate pushy Queen. For that you deserve this and much more. If you do not desire to keep it then gift it to your mother or younger sister.” The girl smiled brightly and hugged Elise as she would a friend or sister. “Thank you, my Queen!” she said as she bounced out of the door, leaving Elise to herself. She finished dressing by adorning her neck with an elegant gold chain that held a beautifully sculpted jade heart pendant. The finishing touch was adorning her honey wheat blond hair with her favorite crown, one made purely of sweet pea vine laced with its flowers.
Elise walked to the mirror and gave herself a once over. Trepidation overwhelmed her as she thought back to the night she stood out on the balcony overseeing the gardens when Joren asked if she could see herself as the future queen of Keleirbag. It was exactly four years to this very date that they were married. She had a splendid dinner for just the two of them planned and everything was to be perfect. Brought back into the now she did a twirl, her lovely pale jade dress shimmering in the light. Satisfied with what she saw she rushed to the armoire and pulled out the gift she had wrapped for him. She then rushed to the door, opening it in an attempt to hurry and found herself running into something firm yet soft at the same time. She started to fall when a strong, secure arm wrapped itself to her and held on tight. She looked up into the handsome face of her husband. “Are you going somewhere in a hurry?” He said, grinning the whole time. “I was just going to the dining hall. There is a dinner planned for us and I wanted to be early.” She hated when she stammered but to this day he could take her breath away and make her nervous like no one else could. If this was any indication as to how the night would end then it seemed they were both in for a night of surprises.
