Character Name: Lieutenant Bevan Marie Sixta
Race: Offworlder
Age: 32
Physical Description: With a fair complexion and angular features, Bevan has a very unique sort of femininity. Her high cheekbones, and dramatically arched eyebrows make her stand out in the primarily male profession that she works in. Bevan’s green eyes have a rather smoldering, penetrating stare that often makes people feel as though she is looking straight through the surface, past all the bull that people display to reach the truth behind the matter. Although her chocolate brown hair is thick and luscious it is often kept up in a high and tight ponytail. There is one major physical attribute that Bevan utilizes at every opportunity that presents itself, and that is her smile. It gives off the allusion that she is sweet and friendly.
Personal Style:Bevan has a simple style. Like all offworlders she dresses in a Military uniform. The blouse has two slanting chest pockets with Velcro closures, two shoulder sleeve pockets with button closures, reinforced elbows, adjustable cuffs, and an eagle, globe, and anchor embroidered on the lest chest pocket- an olive green skivvies (t-shirt) is worn underneath of this. Also on the right breast of her blouse in black block letters is the name Sixta. The trousers have two front slash style pockets, two rear pockets with button closures, two though level bellows cargo pockets with elastic closures, a button fly, reinforced knees and seat, and a partially elastic waistband-a tan or green webbed rigger’s belt secures the trousers. Depending on the situation Bevan can be seen in a utility cap, a boonie, or a lightweight helmet. Finally Bevan wears a pair of tan rough-out combat boots. Also depending on the situation the design of the fatigues are either woodland camo or desert camo.
Playby: Milla Jovovich
Disposition: First and foremost, Bevan is a soldier, and as such she has become accustom to acting certain ways. She not only has the ability to give orders but also to receive and carry them out in a timely and orderly fashion. There are a fair few traits that every soldier must possess and Bevan, after a long military career, has gotten these done to a science. She is dependable, level headed, courageous, decisive, enthusiastic, veracious, selfless, knowledgeable, tactful, and loyal. Aside from all of that she has a rather cold and distant personality that she displays to those around her. She can be manipulative and vicious, whatever it takes to get the job done. Her endurance is, at times, over whelming but even her subordinates know that when the shit hits the fan Bevan is one of the best people to have on your side.
History: Bevan grew up in Boston Massachusetts to a military family with strong political ties in the state. Her father served in the military working his way up from a grunt to a full bid colonel whereas her mother stayed at home taking care of the kids on an off-base location. Growing up in a military home, with three older brothers, all of the children were raised in a manner befitting an enlisted man. They were taught at an early age responsibility, discipline, integrity, and a passion for country. It was only natural that the four children would one day become soldiers themselves. While her brothers were encouraged by the idea, both her mother and father discouraged Bevan’s ambitions to enlist as well. Neither parent wanted to see their only daughter live the life of a soldier. The double standards were only motivation for Bevan to over achieve and outshine all those that she came up against. In basic training Bevan pushed harder, trained longer, and wanted it more than any of those in her boot camp. She graduated with honors and was suggested for an officer’s position by her drill sergeant. Bevan worked up way up through the ranks, putting in her time, and gaining a different perspective as well. She became less worried about outdoing others when, what she thought was a heroic action, got one of the men in the platoon killed in an ambush. Since her first war Bevan has become much more of a team player and has gained the knowledge and foresight that it takes to be a good soldier.
Additional information: Bevan is always in possession of a weapon. As trained, she cannot be in a hostile environment unarmed and must carry her rifle with her everywhere that she goes- unless the situation requires differently.

0600 Bevan stood outside the barracks facing the direction of the American flag lightly billowing in the breeze, her posture in a full salute, as Reveille blared out of the speakers. There was going to be a debriefing in fifteen Mikes, word on the comms was that the pentagon was sending their unit, along with a handful of others, on some cryptic mission, and Bevan, for one, was curious to know what all the chatter was about. As an officer she would be one of the firsts to know what the new mission was. As the last bugle call screamed out Bevan snapped to and turned on her heel to head to Command. The men, and few women, that she passed all had the same emotion lingering about them- anticipation.
The Chow Hall was buzzing with conversation and scents of coffee and slightly burnt toast were strong in the air. Bevan nodded to a Major that was stepping out ready to go to the same place that she was. “Good morning Sixta.” The Major smiled falling into step next to her. It wasn’t in her nature to smile at something as trivial as a greeting but she was still respectful of her superior. “Good morning, sir.” Major Dixon was a comely, middle-aged man with salt and pepper hair that was predominant even with his high and tight haircut. He was one of those officers that liked to try and be everyone’s friend and although he was hard to dislike Bevan found herself lacking in appreciation where others fawned over it. His idle chitchat along the walk was only reciprocated with strategically placed ‘yes, sirs’ and ‘no, sirs’. The only thing that was really on her mind was the new mission they were being presented with.
Glad to be at Central Command Bevan took her leave of Major Dixon and went to the opposite side of the room that he stood at. The room was filled with maps and upon further inspection, as she waiting for the debriefing to begin, Bevan noticed that they were not of any location she had ever seen or heard of. Her curiosity was peaked and when the General entered the room followed by his second Bevan automatically straightened her posture. She stared awe-struck as the General told his officers that they would be deployed to something called the monolith to inhabit an alternate universe under the command of one General Andrew Scott.
